We have a vacancy in our team for a Janitor to work across several buildings at our oceanfront location. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to keep the buildings looking perfect and ready for members to use. To work well in this role you should have knowledge of building cleaning and operations.
Janitor Responsibilities:
General cleaning of our bathhouse and clubhouse buildings.
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Safely use the chemicals required for cleaning.
Knowledge to effectively use PPE.
Cleaning and stocking restrooms.
Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs or areas of concern.
Collect and dispose of trash.
Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Inform managers of cleaning supply needs and gaps in stock.
Work with other staff on special projects as needed.
Janitor Requirements:
Ability to manage your time efficiently and work well with others.
Work well when supervisors are not present.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Have the ability and willingness to be flexible in your schedule, present, and able to work starting at 2 AM.
Basic math skills.
Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
High school diploma.
Reliable Transportation
Prior janitorial knowledge and experience is a plus.
