Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using various cleaning equipment such as a vacuum, mop, broom, and dustpan.
- Handle chemical agents safely for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, following all safety protocols.
- Conduct manual handling tasks, including the lifting of supplies or equipment, while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Maintain the cleanliness of industrial or commercial facilities through sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and glass cleaning.
- Follow established procedures for custodial services to uphold health standards and facility appearance.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques involving chemical agents and proper handling procedures.
- Experience operating floor buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina.
- Previous porter or maintenance experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
