As our Emergency Assistance Intake Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in this mission as a compassionate guide, skilled problem-solver, and trusted connector between community members, referral partners, and critical support services. This position is ideal for someone who combines empathy with strong organizational skills and enjoys meaningful, mission-driven work. In this role, you’ll help families navigate emergency assistance programs, coordinate with landlords, utility providers, schools, and community partners, manage program applications and payments, and ensure accurate data tracking and compliance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work with neighborhood school coordinator and other referral sources to build assistance applications, reach out to landlords and utility companies, submit payment requests to ensure housing stability for the families served.
- Responsible for determining eligibility and processing applications for the JFS auto repair program.
- Responsible for invoice processing for the ID and Birth Certificate program, Stark County Emergency Assistance, Lyft/RUTA, and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Carroll County in a timely manner.
- Responsible for maintaining the Book Ordering System (BOS) for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Carroll County.
- Support annual and as-need agency resource card updates and requests within StarkHelpCentral.com.
- Maintain Excel tracking spreadsheets to maintain data and payment compliance with program requirements.
- Handle office tasks, such as responding to and making phone calls and email communications, creating and printing documents, and providing back up support to reception desk as needed.
Pay: $33,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
