Schaus-Vorhies Manufacturing is currently seeking a production welder/fabricator. Must possess the following skills.
- Reading Blueprints and Layouts: Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and measurements to determine the exact layout and welding requirements of the project.
- Material Preparation: Cutting, shaping, and cleaning metal pieces using equipment like saws, plasma cutters, and angle grinders.
- Setting Up Equipment: Selecting and calibrating the appropriate welding machinery (such as MIG, TIG, or Stick) based on the type of metal and project specifications.
- Executing Welds: Fusing, repairing, or building structural components by applying high heat in various spatial positions (e.g., flat, vertical, or overhead).
- Inspecting and Testing: Evaluating the finished welds and structures for quality assurance, ensuring they meet industry tolerances and checking for any structural flaws.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
