Our client, a large industrial manufacturing company, is looking for a Forklift Operator to join their team in Johnstown, NY. In this role, you will safely operate a sit-down propane forklift to move freight, pallets, and materials throughout the facility while supporting loading, unloading, and sorting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down propane forklift safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Load and unload trailers accurately and in a timely manner
- Move pallets, freight, products, supplies, and related materials throughout the facility
- Hand-sort pallets based on quality and grade
- Complete trailer load and unload sheets accurately
- Track and record productivity numbers as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Prior sit-down propane forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Reliable and available to work evening and overnight hours
Pay & Schedule:
- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:45 AM
