We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper with a strong background in construction accounting to oversee day-to-day financial operations across multiple related entities. This individual will function as a key financial partner to ownership, with a heavy emphasis on cash flow management, job costing, and construction billing.
This is a hands-on role requiring deep involvement in accounting processes from transactional execution through financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Manage AP, AR, and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Own daily cash flow management, forecasting, and banking/line of credit activity
- Lead construction accounting and billing, including AIA billing and job costing
- Utilize platforms such as Textura, GCPay, Procore/Procure, along with advanced Excel
- Supervise AP, AR, and Payroll staff (3 direct reports)
- Partner closely with ownership and leadership on financial visibility and decision-making
- Support multiple entities and intercompany financial coordination
Qualifications
- Full-cycle accounting experience, specifically in the construction industry
- Knowledge of AIA billing and construction accounting practices (highly preferred)
- Proficiency with billing platforms such as Textura, GCPay, and Procore/Procure preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required)
- Experience with ADP payroll systems preferred
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
