Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, contract management, and the use of construction management software. This role requires excellent communication skills, time management abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Xactimate, Albi, Google software.
- Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of plans.
- Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to assess progress and address any issues that arise.
- Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all terms are met.
- Prepare project documentation, including reports on progress, changes in scope, and budget updates.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration among team members.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools and construction management software (ALBI, DASH; Xactimate).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols is essential.
