Iron & Velvet is growing in Leavenworth, and we're looking for someone who wants more than just another retail job.
This is an opportunity to become part of one of Leavenworth's most unique retail experiences. You'll help customers discover products they love, customize hats, enjoy handcrafted drinks, and leave with a story they'll remember.

We're more than a boutique. We're a boutique, bar, gift shop, and community gathering place. Whether someone walks in wearing motorcycle boots or hiking shoes, our goal is the same: create an experience that's genuine, memorable, and uniquely Iron & Velvet.

What You'll Do
Every day is different, and that's exactly how we like it.
You'll:
- Welcome every customer with genuine enthusiasm.
- Build authentic relationships through conversation and exceptional service.
- Learn our products and confidently recommend pieces that fit each customer's style and lifestyle.
- Prepare and serve beer, malt-tails, and other beverages while creating a welcoming bar experience. (No experience? We'll train the right person.)
- Help customers design and customize hats.
- Keep the sales floor organized, fully stocked, and visually inspiring.
- Assist with inventory, merchandising, receiving shipments, and operational projects.
- Support weekends, events, and seasonal traffic with confidence and professionalism.
- Help create the atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.

Retail, hospitality, restaurant, coffee shop, or bartending experience is a plus, but attitude, work ethic, and personality matter even more.
The Reality Check
Our store is located below ground with intentional lighting, music, and an immersive atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Leavenworth.
Weekends, holidays, and busy tourist seasons are when we shine. You'll spend most of your day on your feet, occasionally lifting merchandise up to 50 pounds, moving throughout the store, and navigating stairs as part of your daily routine.
