Part-Time Afterschool Nanny – Sherborn, MA $500 Hiring Bonus
A warm and welcoming family in Sherborn is seeking a reliable, engaging, and organized afterschool nanny to care for their two children, ages 8 and 6. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with school-aged children and is looking for a consistent weekday schedule.
$500 Sign-On Bonus
This position offers a $500 Hiring Bonus:
- $250 paid after successfully completing 3 months of employment
- $250 paid after successfully completing 6 months of employment
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 2:15 PM – 6:15 PM
Compensation:
Responsibilities:
- School pickup and safe transportation to activities as needed
- Preparing healthy after-school snacks
- Unpacking backpacks, lunchboxes, and water bottles
- Assisting with homework as needed
- Engaging the children in fun, age-appropriate activities
- Tidying play areas, living spaces, and craft projects
- Loading or unloading the dishwasher and wiping down kitchen counters
- Helping maintain an organized and welcoming home environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience caring for school-aged children
- Be dependable, nurturing, and proactive
- Enjoy planning engaging activities and keeping children active
- Have a reliable personal vehicle and a clean driving record
- Be comfortable transporting the children in their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided, if applicable)
- Have excellent references and previous childcare experience
- Be CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to become certified
