The Commission on Aging is seeking a highly organized individual to fill the Part-Time Transportation Dispatcher position. This position will be responsible for processing transportation requests, including scheduling and dispatching transit resources to meet participant needs. It may be necessary to make referrals to other transportation resources. The ideal candidate will not only be highly organized but also possess excellent communication and computer skills. The Commission on Aging staff works as a team to provide services to older adults and persons with disabilities, so being a team player is a must! On-the-job training will be offered.
Typical Schedule: Weekdays from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, with occasional shifts extending to 5:00 pm and some Saturday mornings required.
