Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, utilizing your mixology skills and beverage recipe knowledge
- Take food and drink orders accurately using Toast POS system , ensuring prompt and friendly service
- Engage with guests to recommend drinks and menu items, enhancing their dining experience through excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
- Process cash transactions efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities with accuracy
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest creative drink options to excite repeat customers
- Assist in food service duties when needed, including serving meals at the bar or in the dining area during busy periods
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a focus on bartending or serving roles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Demonstrated expertise in cocktail mixing, spirits, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and beverage recipe development
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between serving drinks and taking orders
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate order processing
- Hospitality industry experience emphasizing hospitality industry standards and guest satisfaction
