Position Summary
The Millwright/Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and facility systems. This role provides technical expertise while directing daily maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability, workplace safety, and uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Leadership — Supervise maintenance technicians, assign work orders, monitor performance, and maintain a productive, safety‑focused work environment.
- Machining & Fabrication — Manufacture and modify parts to support the manufacturing function, use of Bridgeport Milling Machine and Manual Lathe is desired.
- Production Equipment Repair — Apply strong mechanical ability to troubleshoot, repair, and restore production machinery, extruders, cablers, & shielders.
- Facilities Maintenance — Perform and oversee building maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC support tasks, structural repairs, and upkeep of facility systems.
- General Repair & Cleanliness — Conduct routine facility repairs, maintain clean and orderly work areas, ensure proper housekeeping standards, and support overall plant cleanliness to promote safety and efficiency.
- Preventive Maintenance — Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for production equipment and facility assets to reduce downtime and extend service life.
- Safety & Compliance — Enforce OSHA and facility safety standards, conduct inspections, and ensure all work meets regulatory and company requirements.
- Inventory & Resource Management — Manage parts inventory, machining materials, and maintenance supplies; coordinate vendor services as needed.
- Documentation & Reporting — Maintain accurate records of repairs, fabricated parts, facility work, and maintenance activities; prepare reports for leadership as required.
- Supervise team operations — Oversees daily workflow, provides coaching and performance feedback, and ensures consistent alignment with departmental standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in millwright work, industrial maintenance, machining, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to operate a Bridgeport Milling Machine and Manual Lathe a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience repairing production equipment.
- Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and position heavy equipment and components.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments with noise, heat, and moving machinery.
- Availability for on‑call support, overtime, or emergency repairs as needed.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
