Overview:
Oversees all departmental health administration needs and requirements as directed by upper management. Manages a medical recordkeeping system including detailed patient health records, ensuring complete confidentiality and records security of patient health data as well as doctor notes and recommendations.
Responsibilities:

Directs Directors, Senior Managers, and, at times, senior individual contributors in a matrix management environment. Provides meaningful career development discussions, coaching, and ongoing performance feedback.

Leads Nursing Services processes and ensures operational methods align with organizational goals and overall business strategy.

Maintains written policies and procedures governing the day-to-day functions of Nursing Services.

Assists in developing methods to coordinate Nursing Services with other patient care services to ensure continuity of patient care.

Performs administrative duties, including patient admissions, discharges, transfers, completion of medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and clinical documentation.

Manages team performance through regular coaching, timely feedback, and formal performance evaluations to promote service excellence, employee engagement, motivation, and professional development.

Oversees operational aspects of assigned areas, including budgeting, performance management, regulatory compliance, workforce planning, and succession planning to meet organizational needs.

Creates a purpose-driven work environment by aligning the organization's mission, vision, and core values of improving health and promoting well-being with the goals and strategies of the Nursing Services department.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Graduate of an approved school of nursing required.

Current, unrestricted nursing license in the applicable state required.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Educational requirement may be waived based on substantial related experience.

Four (4) to six (6) years of nursing management or related experience required.

Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
