The Project Engineer is responsible for equipment design, development, maintenance, record keeping and purchasing. Duties may include but are not limited to:

Supporting production through work order requests;

Developing and maintaining CADD drawings of existing and upcoming projects;

Maintaining capital project purchasing records;

Maintaining good working relationships with vendors;

Management and coordination outside vendors associated with project and plant improvements;

Assisting in resolving vendor quality and performance problems;

Working closely with outside fabricators to ensure projects are done to the specifications of ES;

Ensuring scales are maintained and calibrated as required
The Project Engineer is responsible for Food Safety and will enforce GMPs, maintain a sanitary work environment, and ensure that products are produced to meet and comply with applicable specifications, food quality and safety requirements, and existing laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications

Ability to read, interpret, and create engineering drawings.

Capital and plant operations(maintenance) project management.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements of OSHA, FDA & EPA

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Preferred)
Preferred (but not required):
- Safety and process hazard analysis

Advanced knowledge of Lean, 6S, and TPM fundamentals

6 Years experience in Process Engineering within a food, chemical or beverage processing environment

Experience with sifting, cleaning, sterilization, milling, mixing and packaging equipment
