Deese Dentistry is a well-established, family focused dental practice seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, has a positive attitude, and works well in a team oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent decay and gum disease
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs
- Administer local anesthesia (if certified) and nitrous oxide sedation as needed
- Take and interpret dental radiographs (medical imaging)
- Maintain accurate medical records, document treatment plans, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Work closley with doctors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Helping support the team in other areas of the office when needed
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and managing medical records securely
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix for documentation and scheduling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and team player mentality
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
