Skills
- Proven experience working with diverse populations including geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, pediatrics, and those in acute or chronic care settings.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and data management.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification to ensure safe patient interactions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices; proficient in manual handling techniques for patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols including aseptic technique and infectious disease care to uphold safety standards across all settings.
