Overview
We are seeking a skilled Semi-Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently, supporting our mission to exceed customer expectations through dependable service.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on semi-trucks, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Conduct DOT inspections / PM (preventative maintenance) on trucks and semi-trialers
- Conduct preventative maintenance routines such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, and fluid checks.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Repair or replace components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Inspect heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, and industrial equipment for safety and operational integrity.
- Maintain detailed service records and document all repairs performed for compliance and tracking purposes.
- Assist with assembly or disassembly of vehicle parts during repairs or upgrades as needed.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty trucks or large industrial equipment.
- Dealership experience is highly desirable for advanced diagnostics and repairs.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles including diesel engine repair, air brake systems, hydraulics, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and electrical diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators or cranes is a plus.
- Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting electrical or hydraulic systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $26.30 - $32.00 per hour
