Honor Diesel Repairs is a growing diesel repair shop specializing in commercial vehicles including semi-trucks, trailers, tow trucks, box trucks, and service trucks. We are looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to help lead daily shop operations, maintain quality repairs, and support a productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day shop workflow and technician productivity
- Diagnose and assist with complex diesel repair issues
- Assign jobs to technicians and ensure repairs are completed efficiently
- Maintain repair quality standards and safety procedures
- Communicate with customers regarding repair updates when needed
- Assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and road service coordination
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of shop equipment and tools
- Help train and mentor technicians and apprentices
- Keep the shop organized, clean, and operating smoothly
- Work alongside technicians as needed during busy periods
Qualifications
- 8+ years of diesel mechanic experience required
- Leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, electrical diagnostics, air brakes, and trailers
- Ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
- CDL is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented
