Job Title: General Assembler
Pay Rate: $18/hr.
Location: Near Beverly, MA
Duration: 6+ months, with potential for extension based on business needs
Shift: 1st Shift — Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM OR 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable General Assembler to support the production of small components and assemblies in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with hand tools, following detailed instructions, and performing repetitive assembly tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and connector-related products according to manufacturing instructions and technical drawings.
- Follow established work instructions and production procedures.
- Use basic measuring tools, including rulers and calipers, to verify dimensions.
- Cut and strip wires as required for assembly.
- Operate small hand tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality and accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
- Comfortable using basic measuring tools such as rulers and calipers.
- Ability to cut and strip wires.
- Comfortable working with small hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent use of small hand tools and repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks in a production environment.
