Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused CDL Class A Regional Flatbed Driver to join our team. This position offers consistent regional freight, competitive weekly earnings, and the opportunity to learn flatbed securement techniques. Drivers enjoy predictable routes throughout the Midwest without running into the Northeast.
- Average weekly earnings of $1,700 - $2,000
- Consistent regional freight lanes
- Home time based on regional dispatch schedules
- Paid training for flatbed securement practices
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle while transporting flatbed freight throughout the Midwest region.
- Properly secure loads using chains, straps, and other securement equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Deliver freight safely and on time while providing excellent customer service.
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately.
- Tarp loads as needed (approximately 10% of loads).
Regional runs include travel to:
- Chicago, IL
- St. Louis, MO
- Cincinnati, OH
- Columbus, OH
- Detroit, MI
- Louisville, KY
No Northeast routes.
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Safe driving record
- Previous flatbed experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to obtain a Hazmat endorsement
- Ability to perform physical duties associated with load securement
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Flatbed load securement training
- Hands-on instruction with chains, straps, and cargo securement best practices
- Support in obtaining Hazmat endorsement if not currently held
