- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to MotorCity standards.
- Recommend signature cocktails, wine selections, and other beverages.
- Handle transactions accurately using MotorCity’s point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized bar.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and policies.
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during high-volume periods.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate as necessary.
- At all times, uphold MotorCity’s standard of excellence in demeanor, service delivery, and overall professionalism.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- At least two years of bartending experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant, hotel, or club.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Michigan Gaming Control Board, in accordance with state regulations.
