Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist (LMHC) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical documentation standards and ICD coding (ICD-9, ICD-10) to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and behavior management techniques.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute psychiatric episodes or behavioral emergencies effectively.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines and patient care standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment planning records, and medical records within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators—to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Provide specialized services such as addiction counseling, grief counseling, pediatric and child & youth therapy, autism spectrum disorder interventions, and support for co-occurring disorders.
- Engage in telehealth therapy sessions to expand access to mental health services across diverse settings.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to enhance evidence-based practices within behavioral health.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in outpatient or inpatient settings within behavioral health or mental health clinics.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Prior experience with crisis management and crisis intervention techniques in high-pressure environments.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses and ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10).
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of telehealth platforms and delivering clinical counseling remotely is preferred.
- Ability to adhere to clinical documentation standards while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
