Job Purpose
Ensures complete and accurate processing of all incoming shipments, order picking, inventory putaway, and outbound dropshipping orders for our overseas warehouse fulfillment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Putaway:
- Unloads inbound containers and shipments from suppliers
- Operates turret forklift to put away products in high-rack storage locations in an organized manner
- Tracks bin locations of new inventory in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Consolidates products when applicable to maximize storage space and efficiency
- Verifies product quantities and conditions against receiving documents
Order Picking (Dropshipping):
- Operates order picker equipment to accurately pick individual customer orders according to pick ticket specifications
- Picks small parcel dropshipping orders with high accuracy
- Ensures products and packaging are in excellent condition for direct-to-consumer shipment
- Stages picked orders in designated packing area organized by carrier and service level
- Consolidates multi-item orders to ensure complete fulfillment
Packing & Shipping:
- Prepares dropshipping orders with appropriate packaging materials and protective cushioning
- Stages packaged orders in designated carrier staging lanes (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.)
- Ensures all orders meet carrier requirements and are ready for pickup
Inventory Management:
- Completes cycle counts and inventory spot checks based upon assignments provided by the Inventory Manager
- Investigates discrepancies in product, quantity, SKU, or labeling
- Daily auditing of inventory accuracy in WMS system
Special Projects:
- Works independently or as part of a team to complete warehouse optimization projects
- Assists with seasonal peak preparation and inventory reorganization
- Participates in process improvement initiatives
All Tasks:
- Maintains quality service by following company-wide standards and dropshipping best practices
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping aisles, bin locations, and workstations neat and free of debris
- Complies with all OSHA safety procedures, company rules, and warehouse regulations
- Responsibilities may be amended as needed
Required Experience
- Minimum of 6 months' continuous experience operating order picker equipment
- Minimum of 6 months' continuous experience operating turret forklift (three-way reach truck)
- Minimum of 12 months' cumulative experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or fulfillment environment
- Experience with RF scan guns and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- E-commerce or dropshipping fulfillment experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, reach, and climb continuously for 8 shifts
- Comfortable working at heights on order picker equipment (up to 20+ feet)
- Tolerance for changing warehouse conditions due to weather (extreme heat in summer or cold in winter)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motions
Schedule
- Full-time position: Monday – Friday 9 AM- 6PM with 1 hour break
- Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak seasons
- Flexibility for seasonal volume fluctuations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
