About Lawson
Lawson Spolansky is a filmmaker, creator, and digital personality building one of the fastest-growing personal brands on TikTok. We’re looking for someone who understands internet culture at a deep level—not just trends, but why they work.
This is not a traditional social media role. We’re looking for someone obsessed with growth, storytelling, and virality who wants to help build a creator into a globally recognized entertainment brand.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a TikTok-first content strategy designed to maximize reach and audience growth.
- Identify emerging trends, sounds, formats, and cultural moments before they become mainstream.
- Brainstorm high-concept, original content that balances entertainment with authenticity.
- Analyze performance data and continuously optimize content based on retention, watch time, engagement, and shares.
- Build systems that increase discoverability and long-term audience growth.
- Create content calendars while remaining agile enough to capitalize on viral opportunities.
- Collaborate on creative concepts, series, campaigns, and brand partnerships.
- Research competitors and identify opportunities to outperform them.
- Help shape Lawson’s long-term digital brand across multiple platforms.
Who You Are
- Deeply immersed in Gen Z internet culture and TikTok.
- You instinctively know what makes people stop scrolling.
- You study creators, algorithms, and viral content for fun.
- Creative, proactive, and full of fresh ideas.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.
- Data-driven without sacrificing creativity.
- Excellent communicator with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience growing creator accounts is a major plus.
Bonus Points
- Proven experience scaling TikTok accounts into the hundreds of thousands or millions of followers.
- Video editing experience (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Experience with creator monetization and brand partnerships.
- Strong understanding of audience psychology and storytelling.
