As a Wildland Firefighter II for the Borger Fire Department, you will play a crucial role in our efforts to mitigate the risk of wildfires and protect our community and natural resources. Building upon your experience and training as a wildland firefighter, you will work under the direction of the Fire Mitigation Coordinator or designated leader to implement fuel reduction, vegetation management, prescribed burns, and other wildfire mitigation and response activities.
