Regional Class-A CDL driver for Homestretch Logistical Solutions Inc.
Monday-Friday schedule. Home every weekend and home nights through the week as well. Dedicated freight moving to AL, IL, MI, and SC.
Drivers will use late-model equipment and will be compensated .68 a mile with weekly pay. Drivers will be eligible for health and dental benefits as well as 401k after 31 days of successful employment. Paid vacation is earned within the first 6 months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate CMV in a safe manner.
- Follow instructions, locate and navigate to the destination safely
- Pre and Post-trip inspections
- Pick up of goods and materials, verify load accuracy, load safety by using load bars or straps for security and deliver as instructed
- Complete and verify all paperwork for accuracy
- Hours and days may vary, this is an OTR opportunity and will depend on rest and reset periods
Skills and Qualifications
- Traffic Laws/ DOT regulations/driving knowledge
- MUST have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a clean MVR and Clearinghouse
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- NO DUI / DWI’s within the past 7 years
- Listening and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Dependable
Education, Experience and Age Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess valid Class A CDL
- 21 years or older
- Minimum 2 years CMV driving experience
