Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Full Time Cake Decorator to join our bakery team. Duties
- Decorate cakes and baked goods with precision, creativity, and attention to detail using various cake decorating techniques.
- Prepare pastry fillings, icing, frosting, and other decorative elements in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance.
- Package finished baked goods carefully for customer purchase or catering orders.
- Assist in food production tasks including baking, pastry preparation, and food handling to support high-volume bakery operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering decorating suggestions when needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry preparation, or food production within a bakery or food industry setting.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to health regulations.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in baked goods.
- High-volume production experience preferred, with a focus on baked goods or catering environments.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with good organizational skills for maintaining a clean workspace.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory.
- Customer service skills to engage positively with customers and support their needs.
