American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Oncology unit position at a Level II Trauma Center requiring chemo certification and Epic experience.

Oncology unit within a 426-bed, short-term acute care hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System
-
Level II Trauma Center
-
Shift options are 3x12 or 4x12 hours, days (7:00–19:30), at the RN's choice
-
Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage as needed
-
Floating to other Med/Surg units required as needed

Epic EMR experience required
-
Free parking available on-site

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required

Current BLS, NIHSS, and Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required

Epic EMR experience required

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

Candidates must not have any disciplinary actions or priors on their nursing license

1 professional reference required for consideration

Royal blue scrubs required

Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted

COVID vaccination with booster required; religious or medical exemptions are accepted

Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility

Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
