JOB SUMMARY:
The Pre-/Post Inspector’s primary role is to ensure product meets incoming, in process, and processed goods quality specifications. The quality inspector/auditor handles the tracking of Trials, VITO’s and first production through-out the process.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
- Perform pre-qualification inspection to assign appropriate processing specifications for the Account Management team.
- Perform daily incoming inspection per inspection criteria requirements.
- Inspect, track, and follow Trials, Vito’s and 1st Production Orders through-out the process.
- Maintain retain samples of all inspected pieces.
- Perform crock tests to meet ASTM Standards on pre and post processing products.
- Assist with disposition of nonconforming products.
- Performs cleaning, steaming and/or rerolling of goods as needed.
- Communicate inspection results with photo documentation to Account Management and Product Development.
- Support Quality and functional department teams in addressing quality issues as they arise in operations.
GENERAL DUTIES:
· Performs end of the day housekeeping.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments within the company.
· Experience and knowledge in Textile Industry/applications (preferred).
· Experience and knowledge in processing technologies and capabilities (preferred).
· Excellent communication in both written and oral forms.
· Ability to identify and meet customer’s needs and requirements.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Proficient in Outlook and Excel. Willingness & ability to learn additional systems.
· Ability to be self-motivated and a problem solver
· Ability to organize workload and utilize time management skills to maximize productivity.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to warehouse equipment, dust, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, hazardous materials, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
