Responsibilities
- Customer oriented
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems (Toast)
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to create a welcoming environment for all guests
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and serving areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing tills
- Assist with food handling, basic food prep, and serving food items efficiently and safely
- Support the team by managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles, with strong coffee knowledge preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast for retail sales transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques
- Previous café or retail experience is highly desirable to excel in this fast-paced environment
Pay: $12.00 - $24.00 per hour
