What You’ll Do
-
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow food safety procedures and protocols, including but not limited to proper food preparation temperatures, FIFO practices, personal hygiene, product labeling, and safe food storage.
- Follow recipes and instructions provided by the Pastry Sous Chef and/or Pastry Chef.
- Create an appropriate production prep list and ensure the preparation of adequate levels of mise en place.
- Prioritize prep tasks and demonstrate effective time management.
- Portion, plate, and garnish food according to restaurant standards.
- Work collaboratively with all restaurant team members including BOH and FOH staff.
- Produce consistent, high-quality food items that meet the restaurant's standards.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and management.
- Handle guest allergies with the utmost care and adhere to established restaurant allergy protocols.
- Attend all scheduled shifts and meetings on time.

Physical Requirements-
Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
