Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Oversees all accounting operations, including AP, AR, and fiscal records.
- Compliance & Controls: Enforces GAAP, tax regulations, and strict internal financial controls.
- Reporting & Budgeting: Prepares financial statements, budgets, and performance reports for upper management.
- Data Analysis: Interprets financial and statistical data to evaluate profitability and budget performance.
- Cash Management: Monitors cash flow and decides the strategic disposition of corporate funds.
- Audit & Tax Liaison: Coordinates internal/external audits and prepares necessary tax filings.
- Risk & Tour Accounting: Manages corporate insurance policies and handles tour estimates/reconciliations.
- Team Supervision: Directs, trains, and evaluates accounting staff to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
- 7+ years in accounting, with 5+ years in a management role.
- Bilingual fluency in both English and Japanese.
- Preferred familiarity with tour operations and strategic business planning.
- Strong leadership, financial management, people development, and strategic vision.
- Advanced knowledge of computerized accounting systems and standard office software.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
