Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provides services in accordance with organization’s accepted standards of practice.
- Identifies barriers to desired outcomes and relays that information to interdisciplinary teams.
- Advises and consults with the patient/family and other agency personnel regarding the plan of care.
- Provides therapeutic treatments.
- Teaches the client/caregiver.
- Evaluates equipment needs and coordinates implementation to increase functional level.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum
- Current License in the state of Massachusetts, in good standing
- At least one year experience as a COTA/L
- Must have current CPR certification
