Position Overview
A growing Wealth Management firm in Amherst, NH is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive New Business Processor to support our advisory team. This role is critical to delivering a seamless client onboarding experience and ensuring accurate, timely processing of new accounts and asset transfers.
The ideal candidate has experience in wealth management operations, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Account Setup
- Process new client paperwork and ensure completeness and accuracy
- Open new accounts with custodians, including individual, joint, trust, retirement, and entity accounts
- Coordinate account approvals and follow up on outstanding documentation
- Maintain onboarding checklists and workflows to ensure compliance and efficiency
Asset Transfers & Account Maintenance
- Initiate and track ACAT and non-ACAT transfers
- Monitor asset movement and proactively resolve transfer issues
- Process account updates, beneficiary changes, and other service requests
- Communicate status updates to advisors and clients as needed
Data Management & CRM Administration
- Accurately input and maintain client data within CRM systems
- Ensure data consistency across custodial and planning platforms
- Maintain digital client files and documentation in accordance with compliance standards
- Assist in workflow automation and process improvements
Platform & Systems Support
- Work within firm's custodial platform to open and maintain accounts
- Support advisors using their planning software (experience a plus)
- Collaborate with compliance and operations teams to ensure regulatory adherence
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in wealth management, RIA operations, or financial services processing
- Hands-on experience onboarding new clients and transferring assets
- Experience with Fidelity custodial platform preferred
- CRM experience required
- Experience with eMoney financial planning software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
