AR/AP Specialist – Part-Time -3 days a week- Transitioning to Full-Time
Provide Accounts Receivable support in cash posting, billing, researching payment discrepancies, light collections and some data entry among other general office tasks.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in full cycle accounts receivable comfortable working with various customer vendor portals.
This is a part-time office position with possibility of growing to full time.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily/weekly collection calls, monitor accounts to ensure receivables are current
- Reconcile customer accounts, research invoice discrepancies and resolve any issues
- Maintain customer files and accounting documentations
- Prepare, post and balance bank deposits
- Process credit card transactions
- Handle corporate billing, invoicing & payment detail on customer portals
- Investigate and resolve questions or concerns pertaining to billing
- Assist with weekly & month end reports, statements and other work-related duties as assigned
- Assist with overflow order entry and invoicing daily shipments.
This position will assist our Buyers and support replenishing goods sold by the company. They will assist in running inventory reports, placing orders with vendors, following up on orders, reconciling POs/pack lists/invoices/checks, filing shipping claims & invoicing clients for shipped product. A percentage of time will be spent with various office tasks including but not limited to:
· phone reception,
· filing,
· handling mail,
· billing for drop shipments,
· processing credit card payments,
· identifying product for catalog updates,
· updating product catalogs
· other various tasks.
Qualifications: 1+ year experience AP/AR or bookkeeping experience, Proficient in Microsoft Excel & QuickBooks.
Position Type: Part-Time (3 days a week) Transitioning to Full-Time
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: 3 days per week - 7:30am-4:30pm
Pay: $20.00 per hour
