Job Description:
Responsible for managing and directing the daily routines of Bodines Restaurant production, supervising the flow of activity in the kitchen(s) to and from service areas and locations. The Room Chef oversees all Leads and employees in the kitchen to ensure satisfactory completion of their assigned duties, with an emphasis on cost controls, quality and ultimate guest satisfaction. Key roles to include: Manager, Leader, Trainer, Administrator, Communicator, Culinarian, Artist, Creator and Team Player.
Attends any and all meetings and prepares all necessary paperwork and reports as directed by Director of Operations. Available to work any shift as needed. Performs any and all other duties as requested by the Director of Operations
Job Requirements:
1. 5 or more years in hotel restaurant / casino or in individual restaurants specializing in high volume restaurant focus for casual dining.
2. Culinary background must have focus on high volume, quality as well as teambuilding, interpersonal skills and managerial skills.
3. High school graduate or G.E.D., culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate
4. Posses ability to teach, train and motivate a diverse workforce.
5. Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
6. Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively in the English & Spanish language.
Salary: 65K+ DOE
