We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with strong Opkey expertise to support and enhance the testing framework for a large-scale Oracle-based Human Resource Management (HRM) platform. This role will focus on assessing, repairing, optimizing, and maintaining existing automated test scripts while driving improvements in overall test automation effectiveness.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills, capable of working independently to identify issues, implement solutions, and collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and remediate existing automated test scripts within the Opkey platform.
- Improve the quality, reliability, and maintainability of the current test automation framework.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for Oracle HRM applications.
- Identify gaps in current testing processes and recommend automation best practices.
- Collaborate with HR, business, QA, and technical teams to understand requirements and testing objectives.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Track, document, and communicate testing results, defects, and remediation plans.
- Ensure testing coverage aligns with business and system requirements.
- Support test planning, test execution, and release validation activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the test automation and QA processes.
- Solid experience in software testing and test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Opkey Test Automation Platform (required).
- Experience testing Oracle-based HRM/HCM applications.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting, and best practices.
- Proven experience reviewing and correcting poorly designed or unstable automation scripts.
- Experience with regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be a proactive, self-motivated contributor.
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud or other Oracle enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD and automated testing strategies.
