Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, replenishment, and organization using RF scanners and warehouse equipment
- Load and unload shipments efficiently, utilizing tools such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas, including merchandising, packaging, and general upkeep
- Operate shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of products and proper documentation
- Support retail sales by processing transactions accurately at the cashier station and upselling products when appropriate
- Assist in inventory management tasks such as cycle counts, stock rotation, and reporting discrepancies
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and control processes
- Proficiency with RF scanners, warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts), and shipping/receiving procedures
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Good interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively and work collaboratively with team members
