Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders at the counter
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions and cash register operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Prepare simple food items following safety standards, including pizza toppings and side dishes
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food handling areas, counters, and equipment sanitation
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and serving
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining sanitation standards in the dining area
- Operate kitchen equipment safely during food prep activities
- Manage customer orders efficiently using POS systems and ensure timely delivery of products
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants preferred, especially in cashiering or food service roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Food handling or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments will be advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and sales calculations
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly attitude
- Prior experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a restaurant environment is beneficial
