Lab Technician
Pediatric Practice in Greensboro, NC is seeking a self motivated, energetic Lab Tech for our busy pediatric practice. We are in search of someone ready to welcome a full-time schedule by embracing new challenges and enhancing the work environment by demonstrating a positive and professional attitude.
Hours may include some evening and weekend hours.
Job Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Assist in receiving, collecting, and logging of all blood and nonblood specimens:
Receiving and ensure proper identification of patient specimens.
Perform all laboratory tests as directed by our laboratory procedure manual.
Runs all test as directed by machine/analyzer instructions.
Document all test results of patients in appropriate log.
Record all patient results in laboratory information system or electronic medical record system as is appropriate.
Follow all OSHA/CLIA regulations.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma/ Lab experience preferred but not required.
