Key Responsibilities:
- Client Intake & Veterinary Software Use
- Greet clients and efficiently search for existing accounts or create new client/patient profiles in veterinary software systems
- Accurately enter and update patient information including weight, species, vaccine history, and medical notes
- Review records for completeness and identify missing or inconsistent information
- Client Education & Service Recommendations
- Assess each pet’s needs based on lifestyle, history, and client concerns
- Educate clients by quickly and clearly explaining core and lifestyle-based vaccinations, heartworm testing, flea & tick prevention and fecal testing
- Confidently recommend appropriate products and services while addressing client questions
- Customer Service Excellence
- Deliver friendly, compassionate, and efficient service in a high-volume environment
- Ensure every client fully understands the services received and recommended follow-up care
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with both clients and team members
- Accuracy & Record Management
- Verify all paperwork and digital records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Identify and correct errors in documentation before finalizing records
- Ensure all services and products are properly recorded and charged
- Payment Processing
- Accurately enter charges and process payments
- Maintain clear and organized transaction records
- Clinic Operations Support
- Assist with setup and breakdown of mobile clinic equipment
- Support team workflow to maintain efficiency during high-volume clinic hours

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to learn, understand and explain pet vaccinations, boosters, heartworm and flea & tick control products
- Ability to review pet history and determine needed boosters, educate on missing vaccinations, heart worm and flea & tick prevention
- Experience working with veterinary software systems (Vetter, Avimark, eVetPractice, etc. preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Passion for animal care and client education
