Self-Direction DSP – Baldwinsville, Ny Area (Job #JLF-PB)
ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Baldwinsville area, with an independent 43-year-old man who has Mild Intellectual Disability. He is looking for a dedicated individual to provide him with transportation, be involved in community life and teach skills for independent living both at home and in community settings.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, transporting him in the community, shopping, visiting local parks, hiking, and spending a lot of time outside. He is very sociable, humorous and easy-going. He loves to spend his days outside in nature.
We are looking for an individual who has experience in the field, is reliable, patient, trustworthy, open-minded to his strong opinions and is a great communicator. Reliable transportation is required for this position. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the agency.
Hiring Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Pay rate starts at $26. The days and times are flexible. ARISE is an Equal Opportunity Employer

Must have a valid drivers license

Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
