Leading complex, cross-functional projects and multi-workstream initiatives, coordinating teams, dependencies, resources, and priorities to drive timely, high-quality outcomes

Assessing and managing overall project health across scope, budget, timelines, risks, and dependencies; proactively identifying emerging concerns, evaluating their impact, and providing actionable recommendations to clients and internal leadership
-
Overseeing project financial performance, including budget forecasting, variance tracking, resource planning, and financial risk mitigation
-
Managing project and program scope in alignment with Statements of Work (SOWs), assessing the impact of proposed changes and leading alignment around mitigation strategies or formal change requests
-
Leading project governance and executive-level communications, translating complex project information into clear insights, recommendations, and decisions for clients and internal leadership
-
Guiding and mentoring project managers and project teams, reinforcing best practices in planning, governance, stakeholder management, and delivery execution
-
Identifying opportunities to strengthen project delivery and contributing to the continued development of PMO processes, tools, templates, and best practices
We’re looking for someone who brings a combination of expertise, initiative, and collaboration. Ideal candidates will have:

A bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant project management experience in life sciences or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
-
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership, multi-project, or program management capacity
-
Extensive experience leading complex, client-facing projects or programs within clinical operations, life sciences, a sponsor, CRO, or consulting environment
-
A strong understanding of clinical operations, the drug development process, regulatory requirements, and cross-functional clinical delivery
-
Demonstrated experience assessing project health across budget, timeline, scope, risks, and dependencies, with the ability to recognize emerging concerns and translate project data into actionable recommendations
-
Experience managing project financials, including budgets, forecasting, resource planning, and variance management
-
Experience with eClinical systems such as TMF, CTMS, EDC, or similar platforms, as well as project management and collaboration tools
-
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior and executive-level clients, communicate complex project information clearly, and influence decisions and alignment
