The PA Health Center Technology Alliance (The Alliance), a subsidiary of Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers, is seeking an experienced analyst to join our team!
The Cadence Enterprise Scheduling and Resolute Registration Analyst is responsible for the design, build, testing, implementation, and optimization of Epic scheduling and registration workflows across ambulatory and hospital settings. This role ensures accurate patient access, scheduling efficiency, registration integrity, and downstream revenue cycle performance, while aligning with Epic Foundation and organizational governance. Because Cadence and Prelude sit at the front door of Epic, this role has a major impact on patient experience, data quality, and billing accuracy.
Understanding of the operational practices of scheduling and payer authorization, including nuances of provider schedules within your organization, scheduling practices for certain types of visits, and how these practices relate to the medical record flow for appointments. Knowledge of areas that integrate with Cadence, including check-in, registration, benefits, referrals, PCP assignment, and orders.
This position is a fully remote position with some travel required. Must be located in the Eastern Standard Time Zone and willing/able to travel to Pennsylvania.
Essential Job Functions
- Scheduling & Registration Design and build: configure Epic Cadence scheduling workflows and Epic Prelude registration workflows
- Workflow Analysis & Standardization: collaborate with front desk, call center, revenue cycle, and clinical teams to map workflows.
- Testing & Validation: develop and execute unit testing, integrated testing, and end-user validation sessions
- Go-Live & Stabilization Support: provide command center and at-the-elbow support for patient access teams
- Governance & Change Management: participate in patient access governance committees and document build decisions and support change control processes
- Optimization & Continuous Improvement: monitor scheduling utilization, registration accuracy, and patient throughput metrics, as well as recommend workflow enhancements and automation opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Epic Cadence and/or Prelude certification
- 2-5+ years healthcare scheduling, registration, or Epic patient access experience
- Understanding of patient access workflows and revenue cycle fundamentals
- Prior Epic implementation or major upgrade experience
- Call center or centralized scheduling experience
- Experience with referrals, authorizations, or financial clearance
- FQHC, Community Connect, or multi-site enterprise scheduling exposure
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics related to patient access
