Job Summary
Structural welding and fabrication — clean, consistent welds to AWS D1.1 standards, blueprint reading, and the ability to work from shop drawings. Steel fabrication experience is the priority.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass an AWS 2G flux core multi-pass weld test on a one-inch plate
- Experience with multi-pass flux core wire feed welding
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing throughout the workday
- Willingness to work mandatory weekday overtime and voluntary Saturday overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- One (1+) year of welding and/or fabrication experience
- Experience in structural steel or heavy manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with fabrication prints, fit-up, and structural welding processes
