Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role primarily serves our dental offices in Harleysville, PA and Fort Washington, PA.
Location: Harleysville, PA and Fort Washington, PA
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Schedule:
- Harleysville: Monday - Tuesday (9 AM - 3 PM)
- Fort Washington: Wednesday - Thursday (9 AM - 3 PM)
Requirements:
- Licensed Dental Hygienist (PA license required)
- Prior clinical experience preferred.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and removal of plaque and calculus
- Conduct oral health assessments and document findings in patient charts
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as prescribed
- Screen patients for signs of periodontal disease, oral cancer, and other oral conditions
- Assist the dentist in diagnosis by providing clinical observations and documentation
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and preventive care
- Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
- Review and update medical and dental histories
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Monitor supply inventory and report needs for clinical materials
- Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and applicable state dental board regulations.
