The Redicare Nurse Practitioner (Provider) will be responsible for examining patients, prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and performing minor procedures. The Provider will work under the supervision of the Rural Health Clinic Medical Director. ERMC Redicare is seeking a professional, experienced Provider with strong patient interaction skills who is efficient and can multi-task efficiently.
BLS required upon hire and maintained throughout employment. ACLS required within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment. PALS preferred. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Michigan. A graduate from an accredited program for nurse practitioner program. Must be insurable for professional liability. Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to make quality independent decisions. Master’s degree in health-related field required. Prior urgent care, triage and/or emergent care preferred.
