Patient Care Coordinator
Location: Heights Family and Cosmetic Dental – 7138 S. Highland Dr., Suite 213, Salt Lake City, UT 84121 Schedule: Alternating Monday–Thursday / Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Heights Family and Cosmetic Dental is a small, modern private practice with five operatories and a team of six. We provide high‑quality, patient‑focused care in a fast‑paced, organized, and friendly environment.
Role Overview This position supports our doctors and helps maintain smooth daily operations through patient interaction, clinical support, and office organization.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience
- Answer phones and communicate professionally with patients
- Schedule efficiently and maintain productive calendars
- Verify insurance and understand dental benefits
- Assist patients with financial questions and treatment coordination
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Support communication between patients, providers, and staff
- Help keep office flow positive and efficient
Qualifications
- Dental office experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Open Dental experience preferred or willingness to learn
- Understanding of dental insurance and verification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team‑oriented
- Organized, able to multitask, and comfortable in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Compensation $18–22 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
