Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated B/C Class Automotive Technician. In this role, you will perform essential repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Pay based on experience/qualifications, start at $22/hour, more for more experienced tech.
We are a boutique salvage operation and car dealership
Duties include part outs and light auto repair. Basic repair, struts, axles, brakes. No big motor/transmission jobs
Light auto transport/rollback work is part of the job. Experience is a plus.
35 hours per week expected, flexible on working above that
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues using automotive diagnostics tools
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair equipment safely and effectively
- Perform calibration, and auto body repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to owner
- Pulling out cars from secondary lot, transporting to bay, parting out and transporting shell to scrap yard
Skills
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive maintenance tools
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
