About the Role
Sabor Brasil is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Intern to support daily business operations, process improvement, compliance activities, and coordination between internal teams, vendors, and customers. This internship provides hands-on experience in managing operations for a growing food business, with exposure to administration, customer relations, food safety, compliance, and business development.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and interested in learning how a company operates and grows.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Administration
- Assist with organizing daily business activities and operational priorities
- Support development and improvement of internal processes and workflows
- Maintain business records, documentation, and operational files
- Assist with project coordination and tracking company activities
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization
Accounting & Invoicing Support
- Assist with customer invoicing and invoice tracking
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable organization
- Maintain vendor documentation and purchase records
- Assist with reviewing operational expenses and maintaining accurate records
Vendor & Customer Communication
- Communicate with vendors regarding orders, documentation, and operational needs
- Assist with customer communication, follow-ups, and account support
- Help maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers
- Support problem-solving and resolution of operational issues
Compliance & Food Safety
- Assist with compliance documentation and regulatory requirements
- Support HACCP analysis, documentation, and food safety procedures
- Assist with reviewing processes to ensure quality and safety standards
- Help prepare and organize records for inspections and audits
Risk Analysis & Process Improvement
- Assist with identifying operational risks and potential improvements
- Analyze business processes to reduce inefficiencies and improve reliability
- Support development of preventive actions and operational solutions
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Interest in business operations, food industry, or entrepreneurship
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, documents, and business software
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
- Portuguese/English bilingual skills are a plus

Upon successful completion of the internship, candidates may be considered for a permanent position with Sabor Brasil. Employees transitioning into a full-time role may receive a compensation rate of $18.00–$20.00/hour, depending on performance, responsibilities, experience, and company needs.
Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability, ownership, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the ability to contribute positively to the continued growth of Sabor Brasil.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
